A.V. Mapping was thrilled to be part of 2024 Canadian Music Week (CMW).
The event kicked off with remarks from Olivia Chow, Mayor of Toronto and from Patrick Rogers, CEO of Music Canada, setting the tone for insightful discussions. We were particularly struck by the announcement of Neill Dixon’s retirement.
While Patrick Rogers and renowned economist Will Page delve into the current state of the Canadian streaming music market with fresh data.
Laura Holtebrinck and three representatives from Canadian music publishers share their deep knowledge on the pivotal role of music publishers in the session “Why Creative Music Publishers Are Songwriters’ Best Friends”, using technology to protect the rights of creators and ensure they receive fair compensation.
Deadmau5 induction was a testament to his incredible career and impact on electronic music. His speech emphasized the importance of artists managing their own directories and staying true to their vision. A.V. Mapping is helping musicians to maximize their music value with technology. Manage the music and transactions all in one stop shop, sell them directly to the filmmakers and production house, and even set them on the blockchain technology to track how the transactions go to and the market uses the data, either in the legal or illegal way. Of course the goal is to find the illegal and make them legal.
A.V. Mapping participated in the international market section, where we connected with global leaders and took part in the 20th International Market. During the “Meet the Global” B2B meeting, we exchanged ideas and forged meaningful connections with industry professionals. This is the main reason why we were in Toronto his June, to share our products and find more talents. And Luckily, WE DID!✨
