A.V. Mapping: FAIM Concert Agreement

A.V. Mapping is hosting the AI vs Artist Challenge, called “FAIM Concert”, welcoming musicians to participate and challenge a music-selecting robot developed by A.V. Mapping.

Any musician or artist, after composing music for assigned visual works, will compete with music selected by a music-analyzing robot on the same visual work, with the evaluation being carried out by the audience.

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the undersigned participants (“Participants”) and A.V. Mapping Co., LTD (“A.V. Mapping”). The Participants agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for participation in the AV AI vs. Artist Music Challenge (“Challenge”).

1. Forms of Participation:

• Participation in live events.
• Utilizing internet-connected devices, including but not limited to mobile phones, tablets, computers, or other devices.
• Providing video, visual content, music, metaverse systems, or electronic related products.

2. Roles:

• Musicians: Enter the Challenge as individual musicians or as part of a musical group.
• Visual Producers: Provide various forms of visual works for musicians to use for composing music.
• Metaverse System Providers: Offer AR, VR, MR, or other software for platform users to use and experience during the Challenge.
• Sponsors: Provide relevant electronic products for promotional and sales purposes during the live event period.

3. Participation and Composition:

Musicians participating in the Challenge have to bring their own musical groups to create a soundtrack for the chosen visual works, competing against the music selected by A.V. Mapping’s AI for the same visual works.

4. Ownership and Authorization:

All Participants agree that the content they provide, including but not limited to visual works, music, software, or advertisements, are either original creations or they have obtained the necessary authorizations, and do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Should any claims arise from third parties regarding such rights, participants are responsible for resolving them independently.

5. Product Promotion and Advertisements:

Participants’ products or advertisements intended for display, promotion, or sale, including AR, VR, MR, games, or other types of software, must comply with applicable laws and regulations, with no misrepresentation, falsehoods, or any other illegal activities, and must not infringe on intellectual property rights. In the event that a third party asserts claims, participants shall address and resolve such claims independently.

6. Usage of Compositions:

Providers of visual, music, or recording works agree that participants may use their content during the event period, within the scope of the event’s objectives for the purpose of the Challenge.

7. Recording and Privacy:

During the event period, participants agree that other participants may film their performances or related activities in accordance with societal norms, and shall not assert any rights pertaining to their likeness or any other privacy concerns.

8. Copyright Ownership:

Musicians creating compositions in the Challenge agree that the copyrights of the creative works produced during the event belong to A.V. Mapping. Any music or audio works provided by Participants during the event remain the property of the respective providers.

9. Specific Product Terms:

Providers offering specific products for the Challenge agree that these products are limited-edition items exclusively intended for this event, with no overproduction or over issuance.

By signing this Agreement, Participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and participate in the AV AI vs. Artist Music Challenge under the oversight of A.V. Mapping Co., LTD.
